Governing body

On 1 January 2021, the Hôpital Franco-Britannique became a part of the Cognacq-Jay Foundation. It is managed by M. Thibaut TENAILLEAU.

In addition to the hôpital Franco-Britannique, the Cognacq-Jay Foundation operates 12 other establishments, most of them in the Ile-de-France region, these include the Cognacq-Jay Hospital (Paris 15e), the Forcilles Hospital (Férolles-Attilly, 77) and the St Jean de Dieu Clinic (Paris 7e) of which it is the majority share-holder.

The Cognacq-Jay Foundation’s objective is to cement the hôpital Franco-Britannique’s position as the leading hospital establishment in North-West Paris. This private non-profit establishment is accessible to all with no additional fees charged beyond those covered by the French social security system.

Through this affiliation with the Cognacq-Jay Foundation, the hôpital Franco-Britannique will have the financial means to complete a major modernisation program on its buildings, patient reception conditions and technical medical platforms which will all eventually be brought together at a single site on the rue Kléber.

This new development means that the hospital will be able to undertake an ambitious renovation project; notably including the construction of an additional building on the Kleber site, which will house all of the services currently based at the Barbès site as well as the operating theatres.

It will also allow the establishment to combine its expertise and skills with those of the Cognacq-Jay Foundation’s hospitals, which are located in Paris and the Seine et Marne department, especially regarding medical and nursing issues but also in terms of purchasing policies, IT systems, HR resources and hospital building construction.

Thanks to the hospitals association with the Foundation, patient hospitalization experiences will be simpler and better coordinated, notably in the cancerology wards. They will have an improved access to all of the specialized medical services of the Foundation’s various establishments which will therefore be able to provide the best possible treatment for every stage of their medical condition.

The hôpital Franco-Britannique’s ambition is to provide treatment for everyone; with the highest standards of medical care combined with a genuine desire for solidarity.
