As soon as you arrive at the hospital you will be in the hands of a 24 hour team of medical professionals covering all medical domains, they will make every effort to ensure you get the best care throughout the duration of your hospitalisation.

This will be coordinated by the Head Doctor of the unit or ward in question.

They will be supported by specialist doctors who intervene within the boundaries of their specialised domains. Doctors or interns will examine you on a daily basis throughout the duration of your stay.

The doctor following your case will remain in regular contact with your GP providing them with a full report on your treatment at the hospital when you leave.

The midwifery staff look after births and provide pre-natal and birthing preparation consultations as well as supervising difficult pregnancies and post-natal care.

The healthcare executives are in charge of the treatment provided and the quality management thereof.

The nursing staff evaluate, organise and administer nursing care.

Care support staff will look after your comfort and autonomy, assist in all hygiene and comfort based treatments.

The childcare nursing staff are specialised in younger children and fulfil an educative and preventive healthcare role.

The childcare assistants provide hygiene care for babies, assist parents in daily care whilst respecting the individual rhythms of each child.

The hospital service staff ensure the state of cleanliness and hygiene of the premises.

Porters will help you to move around the hospital as needed.

Psychologists, physiotherapists and dieticians are there to help you and will intervene as requested by the medical staff.

The medical secretaries organise all of the administrative aspects of your hospitalisation.

The social services staff are available to provide counselling for you and your family and assist you with the various administrative procedures you may have to undertake during your hospitalisation.

As required by you or your situation, social workers can work with the social and medico-social services to prevent or resolve any personal, professional or family difficulties you may face.
